-- The Onboarding & Compliance Lead will be responsible for leading all aspects of credentialing and compliance functions pertaining to the onboarding of our temporary associates for our clients.
These positions will include Clinical, Allied and Advanced Practice healthcare professionals; office, clerical, and administrative professionals; IT and technical professionals; and light industrial and warehouse professionals.
The credentialing for Healthcare professionals must follow those guidelines as set forth in The Joint Commission (TJC), State and Federal requirements, corporate policies & procedures, and other regulatory agencies.
The Onboarding & Compliance Lead is responsible for all aspects of team leadership, including:
onboarding and training, assigning work and monitoring quality, coaching for performance, investigating and resolving escalations, building team culture and engagement, continuously improving credentialing capabilities, and leading strategic initiatives which ultimately impacts fill rate, revenue and profit.
Job Accountabilities Ensure consistent adherence to all department and company policies, procedures, and practices.
Hold team members accountable for expected levels of performance and metrics attainment, high-level customer service, and complying with Joint Commission standards and corporate policies and procedures.
Oversee day-to-day credentialing operations, including but not limited to:
Plan, implement and administers goals, objectives and deadlines for department.
Compose verbal and written directions with outlined objectives to be accomplished in a clear and concise manner.
Collect, analyze, and report metrics to assess team performance and identify areas for intervention.
Accept and handle credentialing escalations, questions, and issues.
Monitor accuracy of active, rehire, inactive, DNR statuses in company systems.
Maintain, update, and implement credentialing documentation checklists with federal regulations/laws, state specialty, and client-specific requirements.
Communicate effectively with all impacted stakeholders, including recruiting teams, account managers, department divisions, clients, and healthcare professionals.
Lead the audit preparation and training for Joint Commission Review.
Complete the monthly file audits and enter the data into the Joint Commission portal.
Complete the clinical and professional Do Not Return DNR data monthly into the Joint Commission portal.
Update and review the performance improvement plan quarterly.
Develop and maintain subject matter expertise on industry-wide, state-specific, client-specific, and Staffing the Universe credentialing requirements.
Perform duties of a Quality Assurance Coordinator in times of unusually high volume.
Able to be generally available to respond to urgent escalations outside of core business hours.
Lead or assist with special projects for credentialing as needed.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

#ZR Education Requirement:
High School degree or equivalent; BA/BS is strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Qualifications for Job Position 4 years or more of job-relevant work experience, including a minimum of 1 year of team lead or management experience is required.
Previous experience in healthcare credentialing or human resources compliance administration experience is required.
Previous experience in nursing or healthcare education, or related experience preferred.
Energetic, highly motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills (and Office 365), mainly in Excel.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
