The ideal candidate will deploy, operate, support, and maintain computer and peripheral equipment; offer technical support and answer helpdesk calls; assist users in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues; create, deploy, and test system images for new PCs and Macs; assist with anti-virus software, incident remediation, and email filtering; write security policies and training documents; manage asset inventory; perform routine preventative maintenance; maintain server infrastructure; install and manage printers; monitor and respond to outages; and perform related duties as assigned.
Must carry work provided cell phone to be reachable in case of emergencies, & monitor and react to alert messages.
This position requires the exertion of up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
It also requires stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and repetitive motions.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Requires working knowledge of Microsoft (Office 365, Active Directory, Azure Intune Management, Exchange 365, etc.
), Security Software (anti-virus and filtering applications), Ivanti, basic networking concepts (DNS, DHCP.
Wireless, Ethernet), power shell scripting, etc.
Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize projects, understand and carry out written and oral instructions, explain technical problems in layman's terms, acquire knowledge and skills required to manage ever-changing technological landscape understand, & establish and maintain working relationships with the staff and user community.
Experience, Education, & Certifications:
Must have a combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university or 5 years of experience in a computer support or deployment role.
Certifications will be considered and may substitute the previous requirement.
