Injection Molding Set Up Tech

Must have mechanical aptitude and a strong interest in industrial manufacturing, plastics industry preferred.
Activities:
- Perform start up activities including placing the mold, aligning the machine press and cleaning the machine of residue before and after new molding runs.
- Assist in break-down procedures including removing molds and cleaning them before hanging and clamping.
- Disassemble and clean barrels and screws.
- Prepare fixtures for storage at end of production runs.
- Put away tools and maintain a clean facility.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED, technical school certificates a plus.
- 5
years in similar position, industrial or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Understanding basic plastic injection molding processes and have a desire to work with high-precision manufacturing machinery.
